Boost Fund For Students
Welcome to the Boost Fund For Students online community. Our mission is to support, encourage and celebrate those who are taking strides to make their education and professional dreams a reality despite the challenges. Longstanding attitudes and biases create barriers in accessing higher education for Americans from many communities. Yet these inspiring students are boldly grappling with the situation to move toward a better future for themselves and their families.
Become a Booster for Students
Two projects are underway to address this mission
Boost Award for your First Credential gives micro-grants for students already in school for entry-level licensing in high-demand vital professions like tech, healthcare, and green energy where schooling takes a year or less.
Boost micro-grants are for enrolled students in good academic standing who face financial challenges. Awardees receive a mid-point refresh of funds to cover out of pocket education expenses like their license exam fees, uniforms, transportation or child care, so they can get to the finish line.
There's a deep shortage of trained professionals in areas like healthcare, and with a small infusion of financial support in the form of a completion grant, you can help more students get the training they need to contribute to their communities.

Get your goals in sight blog includes information and decision tools for undecided students still exploring schooling and career options. Articles explore low cost training programs, affordability of higher education alternatives, and interviews that reveal how other students succeeded at unblocked challenges such as transportation and childcare to achieve their education goals.
